“Giant Robot Biennale 3” at Japanese American National Museum

Coming later this month to the Japanese American National Museum is “Giant Robot Biennale 3,” a custom toy exhibit curated by Giant Robot owner Eric Nakamura.

It’s the third show of curated by Nakamura at the museum, and the show is part of the Japanese American National Museum’s Salon Pop series that showcases “the creative talents of Japanese and Japanese Americans whose unique and innovative work is currently having an influence on American culture.” The exhibit features works from artists Rob Sato, Deth P. Sun, Ako Castuera, Eishi Takaoka, Saelee Oh, Sean Chao, Albert Reyes, and Zach Gage.

The “Giant Robot Biennale 3” opens on September 22, 2012, from 6-10PM with a program starting at 7:30PM and a performance beginning at 8PM. Guests at the show include Nakamura, artists featured, JANM President/CEO G.W.. Kimura, and musician/producer Money Mark. The Japanese American National Museum is located in the Little Tokyo neighborhood of downtown LA (100 North Central Avenue, Los Angeles, CA).
